Bought this for my dog to cool off now in the summer. She is still a puppy and has never been in the water except for bathing; I wanted something cheap to see if she would use it and this is great for that. It installs easily, but I propped up the sides when I filled it (once you have some water you can "shape" it and it will stand on its own. It fills up in 15-20 with a garden hose minutes.I installed it on his brick patio because another review mentioned that it is less likely to be damaged by dog nails on hard ground than on grass and so far it has held up well.If you also use dog as a reference, my dog is a pet mix about 38lbs she is not a big fan yet but has been in and out here 4-5 times easy for her to get in and when she wants out she stands there and looks at me till i hold one side down and don't let her out (and a ton of water lol) but I'm sure she could get out on her own if I didn't have it (although ruined) Measurements are obvious but I got by not so keen on the order tet and was pleasantly surprised at how big it is.a small minus is that it stinks when you have it. There is a chemical smell when you first open the box but that disappeared in the afternoon sun.
