Review on Hammond 1591ESBK ABS Project Box in Black by Quintin Gore

1591ESBK not in ABS. Made from pure styrene. It does NOT have the flame retardancy and durability of ABS. Styrene breaks on impact. The 1591ES is the ABS plastic version of this box and sells for significantly more. Gerber misrepresented his proposal, as anyone who bothers to check Hammond's specs can see. The label inside the box clearly states that the box is made of styrene, so Gerber is complicit in the misrepresentation. You know better. In addition, Gerber does not accept returns for this product, even if it does not match the description. Revane was kind enough to refund me but told me to keep the boxes as Gerber would not take them back. That's a plus for Revain and a black eye for Gerber.
