I made the mistake of ordering three new monitors for my PC without checking if they had VESA mounts on the back for my stand. Ouch! Instead of fiddling with sending it back to back-ordering another set (because I have a lot of money for monitors and like them a lot despite the lack of mounting points), I put 2 of these on my desk and 1 on a filing cabinet to the side. The height difference between the table and the filing cabinet is about 1 inch, which drove me crazy about the height difference. I decided to play some dice on some monitor stands and I'm glad I did! I love the simplicity of these coasters. It only takes a few minutes to assemble (screw the legs onto the plate) and the height is easy to adjust. I appreciate the rubber stopper on the bottom of the coasters that keeps them from sliding on the surface of the table (or filing cabinet in my case). They're solid, level, and best of all, they grow in 1" increments, so my monitors line up perfectly despite the varying heights of the surface. There is nothing better!
