This gaming system is head and shoulders above the competition (with the exception of those who enjoy playing Mario games and other titles that are only available on Nintendo platforms). Despite the fact that the PlayStation 5 will be released very soon, in my opinion, the launch lineup for it will likely be somewhat limited, which means that it is still reasonable to purchase a PlayStation 4. And we are talking about this particular version; 500 gigabytes of storage space are gone in a startlingly short amount of time, and the PS4 Pro will only be beneficial if you already own a 4K television, and even then, only in a select few titles. There are various applications available for watching movies and serials, albeit not all of them meet our requirements. Since technically this is already a very old device and the picture in games leaves much to be desired, and the very high cost of games quickly compensates for any difference in cost between PC and console gaming, I don't see any point in taking the console if you already have a productive PC and you play really a lot. On top of that, it seems that Sony, like Microsoft, has picked up the trend to gradually phase out exclusives. If you are an unassuming and "casual" gamer who enjoys unwinding a few times a week in the evening while playing, or if you like to play primarily in the company of football or fighting games, then you should feel free to take PS4. It would be illogical to consider it solely as a "home theater," and instead, you should concentrate your attention on Apple TV.
