The system was installed three weeks ago. Absolutely no disappointments. Now we can travel and instantly connect our system and see everything around us with total clarity. The system is easy to use and I expect it to last for years. I'm not tech savvy so I hired a friend who knew what to do... In my opinion this is a two man project. The best $500 I've ever spent. We replaced the 2TB hard drive with a 4TB Seagate hard drive. …. It came bundled with Seagate 2TB. We then used 2TB as a plugin for a total of 6TB of storage. We added two additional 4k 8MP cameras for a total of 8 cameras. So far I have 12 days of data. I think the recording will take about 14 days. We have switched to Cat6 Ethernet cables. Running standard cables through the attic and down would be difficult in my situation... We tried other mice but found the basic Revain mouse worked well with this system. I highly recommend using the following junction boxes to mount the cameras….
