Just bought a third of these for my 15lb Shih Tzu. The medium suits him perfectly and makes him feel invincible in the most extreme weather conditions. There's just enough room to wear a thin fleece vest underneath in true arctic temperatures. The first one I bought lasted a whole winter and the next before losing its elasticity - I've washed it many times. I swapped it out a few weeks ago. , and it's already serving us so well that I've ordered another one as a backup. This coat and some paw wax make him a playful pup and he loves all the compliments he gets on our walks. Yes, it's very expensive - I really don't know why. It's decently made and pretty well designed for defense/agility. It keeps my dog safe and comfortable so I will continue to buy until a superior product becomes available.
