My favorite deep conditioner changed its formula so I looked for a replacement. This one was recommended to me, so I took this small size to try. I have very long, thin, straight Caucasian hair. This conditioner is thick, scented, and has taken care of my hair pretty well. However, it didn't give me the really deep conditioning result I was looking for. My hair was still quite tangled (which is typical for my fine hair) when brushing wet. Therefore 4 out of 5 stars. I think this will probably work for a lot of people. But I will keep searching for my Holy Grail.
