I rarely select an item, but I have been sewing and crafting for over 50 years and in all that time I have struggled to find a useful way to store my threads. I have many colors of machine embroidery thread and finally tried this one. It was twice the price of wood but looked like it would work and I got it today! It is very durable, blends in well and stays together. The thread stands are 3.75 inches and they are perfect. In fact, I've just ordered five more! Yes, it's a little pricey, but I've been looking for a great way to store yarn for years, and I've finally found one that works really well for me!
