Very very warm. I'm moving to Minniapolis and recently used it on a trip there. I found it warm and very soft. I wanted to wear my medium lined leather jacket but this cape kept me warm and stylish. I have black with faux fur around the head. It has a very long side that you wrap around your neck so your arms are the same length, then I can put my hands in the pockets at each end. I have found that it works best when put on in front of my coat. Then cover your neck nicely.
