Comparison and Contrast with Rocky Mountain Barber Company All-Purpose Men's Body Wash

Last year I decided I wanted to be a little out of the ordinary, so I ordered some products from CO Bigelow, including their cleansing hair and body with Bay Rum. Just last week I ran out of this product and couldn't buy more because, uh, who knows? For some reason no, and it's not specified when there will be more. So I had to rummage around and look for another replacement. I landed on Rocky Mountain Barber Company's all-in-one men's shower gel. These are very different products so I decided to compare and contrast them. CO Bigelow Bay Rum Hair & Body Wash: Size: 10 oz, $15.00 ($1.50/oz) Rocky Mountain Barber Company All-in-One Body Wash. Laundry: 8 oz, $12.99 ($1.62/oz) When I received the COB product I was dismayed at how small the bottle was, only 10 fl oz. I'm used to much larger bottles from the supermarket. I decided to dose it and use it sparingly. It was amazingly effective. My first bottle was purchased on July 27th, 2019 and I used up my second bottle a week ago. One touch was enough to wash hair and body. I measured a thin line of the product about a finger long. Even though I only used a small amount, the scent was pleasant and not overpowering. I was impressed. Just last week I had to say goodbye to COB and open up the RMBC product. Of course I measured the same amount. I immediately noticed that the RMBC product is much thinner. It seems more diluted. I applied it to my hair and could hardly lather it up. I had to apply more product. This bottle is 8 fl oz which is 2 oz less than the COB product so it won't last as long. When I doubled the dose it seemed to lather well enough, but it never lathered well. The smell wasn't that pleasant either. It has a lighter aroma with a slight chemical aftertaste. If I had bought that first I might have gone back to the grocery store.
