Review on Columbia Girls’ Nordic Strider Jacket: Enjoy Thermal Reflective Warmth in Style! by John Bosch

Never buy anything other than Colombia!

I live in Colorado and have three kids who take the bus to school. Every year I hear complaints that they are always cold. Due to last year's Snowmageddon storm I decided that this year I would go a little broke to find the best and warmest jackets for them. We needed waterproof and incredibly warm jackets while waiting for the bus. I've searched for hours and this jacket made it onto my list. I received the jackets and wanted to wait for the first snow to write a review. At first glance I was impressed with the quality of the jacket but was skeptical because of its lightness. How can a lightweight winter coat keep my kids warm? The style of the jacket is very fashionable and of course suitable for all occasions. We had our first winter storm today and my children had to wait for a bus in 17 degrees weather. I no longer worry if this lighter weight jacket will keep my kids warm. Both of my girls noticed that they never got cold. Both could stand warm at the bus stop. The pockets are warm enough to keep your hands warm. The hood keeps the heat in and makes the jacket warmer all around. I like the reflective function of the omnidirectional heating and the comprehensive technical aspect. Although these jackets cost more than I usually spend, I will definitely be buying another one when my kids outgrow this jacket! It was good money for keeping my kids warm and safe. I know I have great respect for Colombia! In the attached picture my child is 5 years old and we bought xs. We wanted a larger end so it would last longer
