: The covers seem to be very difficult to remove at first. I kept trying and today finally removed one and then the other. Old Review: I checked many spice bottles before ordering and thought they were perfect. However, I was unable to remove the lid to wash it before use. After washing a bottle, there are still drops of water in it and it is not completely dry. I will be using this for peppers and this spice coats the side of the bottle so I don't know how long I can use it. I don't see how even a small brush can remove the residue and drying will still be an issue. I would choose others if I knew. They seem perfect if the lid were removable.
