I have to admit that I bought this as a potential replacement for my Nikon D-80 ring flash for macro photography of teeth. It was waterproof. The good thing about dental photography. I thought it would be easier for staff to use. No, that is not so. The macro function is great. You can get really close, but it doesn't look like you can change aperture or shutter speed. Although I have to play more. Also, the management is not very good. The time will show. Nice little camera for the price. Can be great for shooting underwater or outdoors.
