Pros - Easy to use (no need to read the manual carefully) - Plug and play (no monitor - camera pairing required) - Clear video quality (720P sounds dated but perfect for the purpose) - Loud sound (useful when I'm out visibility to get notifications) - Good range (keeps in touch from corner to corner throughout the house) - Temperature sensor on camera (useful for checking temperature in child's room) - Long battery life (3000mA) - Visual sound level indicator (useful when I hear something with headphones) - Quarter-inch tripod mounting hole (very handy, easy to mount the camera at any angle and in any direction with a cheap tripod) - 4 levels of screen brightness (saves battery life, useful when you take it to the porch take it with you) - Standalone device (device not connected to the internet, don't worry about hackers) - Alerts when the monitor loses connection to the camera - Good to build quality, not bulky Cons: No touchscreen (in this era of touchscreen, of course, I tried to control the menu by touching the screen) Zoom / Unzoom button (some useless function and the control is not intuitive ) The temperature sensor in the camera affects the thermal camera (the sensor isn't in the camera unit, but still didn't seem entirely accurate) Overall, this monitor is a quick and easy solution for parents.
