It has a wide cuff inlaid with three abalone inserts on each side as well as around the entire dial. the rest of the strap is polished chrome and although i wear it every day it hasn't had a single scratch. I wore it to dinner with some friends one night and everyone raved about it. I asked them how much they thought they were worth and a gentleman said it was worth a thousand dollars! They couldn't believe how cheap it was. It has good movement and is a good buy in my opinion.
