We have a very light, easy to install ceiling fan. Well it's easy to install if you have someone to help you because the wires are very short. Unlike the fans you buy at your local store that leave you with so many wires that you have to cut them, this fan gives you the least amount of wires to connect. They provide an adapter so you can add more cables (which you provide if needed. It took me about 15 minutes to install. Why I only gave this fan 3 stars: 1: It's small and it's hard to feel the air outlet , if you're right under the fan 2: NO instructions so you'll have to figure it out yourself to cycle through the options to change the heat/brightness of the light you have to turn the fan off and on 3: I think this fan is meant to be used with the APP, and without the app, you won't have the same experience with the remote control, did I mention ZERO instructions?
