Thick sports rope: rope
ideal for rock climbing. We installed in our outdoor climbing frame. There is some heat-shrinkable black plastic on the bottom to keep the rope from fraying. If it breaks, it crumbles. Since the kids climbed regularly, ours came loose and we decided to leave it alone. Plus it's a great rope.
