XL fits 6'4 250 20 years old. He's long-legged and his extra weight is evenly distributed, so he might be a bit smaller for someone the same size, or a bit narrower for someone who carries his weight forward. My husband is the same height, 25 kg heavier. He needs XX1 or XXXL.
