I have a mini aquarium with nocturnal animals so I needed a small lightbulb with this wattage and finding something specific is incredibly difficult. Low power consumption and red color to filter most visible light for most nocturnal animals. This lamp does just that. However, the inside of the bulb is tinted red and not tinted red during the glass making phase like reptile lamps are. As a result, the color of this bulb will fade over time, turning it into a regular bulb when it burns out.
