I bought this because we were planning a trip to Norway and I read an article about the reflective garments everyone wears there. It's a safety thing, they are very active and it get dark very early in the winter. Pretty much every article of clothing you buy there has "reflects" on it already but obviously we weren't buying a whole new wardrobe. This tape is HIGHLY reflective and sticks to jackets (on the seams and everything), boots, etc. Haven't tried it on metal but i imagine it would be the same. Haven't washed the clothes yet, but i would think it was worth it even if it fell off. Super happy with this, will purchase again.
