If you've never tried a weighted blanket, you need to get one. Obviously 15 pounds refers to the entire blanket and the part that actually covers you is a lot lighter. I have one for each bed and although we don't use them very much on hot summer nights, we pull them out in the fall when the weather gets cooler because nothing helps you sleep better than these things. I don't know the scientific reason but it works, I sleep better, fall asleep faster and wake up more rested. The fabric is soft and cool and the only downside might be that you can wallow in it from your bed if you're not careful (most have some sort of tie) so with all the great stuff in this duvet it's easy 5 star rating.
