Great thing! This backpack is perfect for subway rides and trips across the USA. Outside in mesh pockets, the backpack securely holds two 20 ounce water glasses, while inside it holds a laptop, hefty wallet, cosmetics, 2 sets of keys and a pair of women's shoes. I even ran to the bus with this fully loaded backpack and I didn't lose anything! They're a bit stiff for the first few weeks of wearing, but be patient. The backpack will soften with use and become very comfortable. The security features are pretty cool too, and I'm particularly happy that the zips can be further secured with travel locks. I even used a small travel cable lock to secure my backpack to an airport seat, which I sat in for about an hour and felt safe. It's perfect for the tube and I'm not worried about pickpocketing as it's quite a feat to unzip the zips. Finally, while it's not a custom backpack, it's not so big and bulky that it looks too casual or masculine. Although the zipper takes some time to adjust to use, it's worth it. We love it so much we're getting a second one, possibly in the red if we can find it. worth your money.
