I have a small collection of vintage watches and started looking for watch straps that I could change up from time to time. I really like the strap style of the Zulu 5 but have given up trying to find one that is long enough to properly lace up. My wrist is 7 and 1/4" and everything I tried was too short. They should be about 11.5" to fit me. After some trial and error I found these NATO style bands. My Criterion is a band that can go from business casual to trail style.It should be beautiful,durable and comfortable.This one fits the bill.It's made from quality materials with quality construction.The tailoring is done qualitatively, the material is well made. It's almost silky on the wrist. In fact, this is one of the most comfortable watch straps I've ever used. The end of the tag is loose enough to fit through both loops without bending or under the last loop If you're one of those people who likes to wear it label end up you might be able to, but it may take some effort and in my experience it's not really necessary.You can hoc Identify quality tape. very quickly when you look at it. If the buckle is pinched by the spring bar, this is an automatic error. This is a single point of failure, just like a typical two-piece watch strap. If the buckle pin and strap holes are not the same shape, i.e. round prongs/round holes, square prongs/square holes, this is an automatic error. If they don't match, the holes in the strap will expand over time and look bad. Since writing this review I have ordered 3 more in the same different colors and will likely order more if/when other patterns become available. available in 18mm width. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it.
