We usually buy Musher's Secret, but eventually it stopped working. Maybe our jar just dried up, or maybe it just didn't work for our dog. It was featured at one of our local pet stores and I grabbed it as the material looked quite pliable compared to the stiffer Musher's Secret. This stuff is amazing - it's way softer and "squispier" than Musher's Secret. This helps to penetrate deep into the paw pads and drench the fur around that area. It's not liquid at all, more like a thick paste than hardened wax. Highly recommended if you live in a snowy or cold area. Our dog used to get through a whole block before the salt and cold started hurting her paws and she did the whole paw up and whine procedure. After one paw was released, he hopped onto three, but soon all his paws became too uncomfortable to continue. This material is really "magical" and allows us to take winter walks of up to an hour and more! On snow, on ice, on salty roads, etc. I am not involved at all, just impressed with this product.
