I've owned three generations of these noise guzzlers. I did not expect that years later, Sony would not teach their wh to work properly as a headset. Pros below: There is nothing to say about the sound and noise reduction, everything is just as great. Has cons: 1) There was a terrible problem - the interlocutors hear anything but your voice, the environment is louder. The mdr-100abn didn't have this problem. the microphones point downwards. At mdr-1000x, the microphones are on top, it is simply impossible to talk, nothing has changed since then. 2) As a headset for win10 does not work like the old mdr. The ears either work as a headset and the sound is cut, or as headphones without a microphone .
