This did not live up to my expectations. The magnifying part is only in the center of the mirror, and the area around it is blurred. So when you use it, it's very frustrating because you always have to adjust the mirror so you can see what you're doing. When applying eye makeup, it becomes almost impossible to maintain focus. I bought a quality optical mirror a few years ago and it was amazing. There are no blurred areas on the mirror. Much easier to use. It was expensive but worth it. I wanted to replace it because it has lost its coating and thought it would work as it is considered optical quality. Not worth the money
