The material of this robe is thinner than I thought. But I wore it for about five hours today and it kept me warm even though it was only the 60's outside and can be chilly for Southern California. So I will not be returning the robe as it is a custodian. At first I thought I would return it but after you take it out of the bag it gets better and it has an inner binding and an outer binding. So I changed my mind and it's good value for money because it will keep you warm around the house or when you need to go outside without getting dressed. I felt comfortable in boxer shorts and a t-shirt.
