BEWARE! Laptop security is an issue

This bag is great in so many ways - Perfect size for a personal item on the plane. Plenty of compartments for organized storage. Small but holds a lot. Smooth. Loved the protective bag. However, there is no padding at the bottom of this bag for your laptop. There is padding on either side of the compartment you put it in, but ZERO on the bottom. On a recent trip, I hung my backpack on a hook in the shower stall. He slipped and fell headfirst to the ground. It was only when I heard the noise that I realized something was wrong. I opened it up and lowered it and lo and behold, my personal laptop was badly damaged after a 5 foot fall onto tile/cement. The whole thing was horribly deformed and it is obvious that there was internal damage in use. Finger/mouse no longer works. I spent a lot of money to replace my computer. I wish I had spent the money on a different backpack.
