Review on Cutlery Holder Clear 7 75 2 25 by Holly Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large size, fits in existing rack, looks solid

My existing stainless steel dish rack is solid and still in perfect condition, but the dish holder that came with it has started to rust. The clear plastic feels solid, sticks right to my counter like it was made for it, and fits in aesthetically, matches the counter, and doesn't look like an add-on. The three compartments are separated so that the utensils stand upright and do not slide from one compartment to the other. There are drainage holes at the bottom to keep the water from stagnating in the holder. The depth is perfect for dishes, but some of my longer serving spoons and utensils are too heavy and skinny. They don't fall out or knock over the holder, but I try to be careful and put my longer items in the same slot with others so the other items help keep the tall paraphernalia upright. My other holder was a little lower and sat on the counter. Being deeper meant the longer utensils stood upright, but because it was deeper, the knife points would sometimes pierce the floor and hit the countertop. This sits about 1/2 inch above the tabletop, but that depends on what rack you're hanging it on. Overall this one works better and I am very happy with my purchase. ** 5 years later. Now, and purely for aesthetic reasons, I've just ordered a replacement. I'm so glad they're still selling the exact same thing. My original didn't break, but the clear plastic was a bit hazy and the sides and bottom were scratched from loading and unloading dishes.
