As a music lover, I had problems with headphones because the ear canals were too big, so getting a filling was always a problem, so after purchasing everyone high-end and inexpensive IEMs I've found my perfect IEM for listening pleasure, not critical listening. So sound is subjective when it comes to headphones and IEMs, but here are my top 3 after purchasing the Shure 2, 4, 5 and 8 series, cans, various KZ, Moon Drops, Beats, Apple and the list goes on up to over 100 IEMs . 1. KZ DQ6 with large standard lugs (for everyday use) 2. Shure 846Se with extended lugs (for critical listening) 3. KZ ZS10 with large lugs for compliance (backup for critical and leisure listening). The KZ DQ6 has detail, but warmth and foundation rather than fatigue. Most convenient for me and amazing seal. All the videos on You Tube helped a bit, but unfortunately trial and error was the only way to find out the truth. I have a feeling if you're looking for a great IEM kit at a crazy price of $24 you can't go wrong and if it's not your thing there won't be a huge loss I'll have on my journey spent to find one that works for me. A good place to start before venturing into the realm of expensive IEMs.
