My child is almost two years old but all the wellies I could find in the store went over her knees! I was really hoping for a pair of lime greens but opted for the yellows as they were their size. I liked it 100%, I recommend it to everyone! I'd say the small foot pads came out fairly easily, but I've found this to be a common problem with all wellies I've bought for my kids. They seem quite comfortable and stay on even when running and jumping. Usually it's the shoes she wants to wear :)
