This is a great cat apartment/fortress/tree house, whatever. We have a kitten who is about 5 months old. He loves to. The built-in scratches on the main columns are great. He uses them all daily, which is easy on my furniture. It's also nice to have a few different platforms and covers. He loves to sit and sleep on the top level. The construction is solid and the carpet is very soft. Assembly was pretty easy, I put it together in about 30 minutes with the help of my cat and dog. Just watch out for the short posts in the two covered hiding places. The posts are available in two different sizes and can easily be confused. It's a pity that I didn't pay much attention to the instructions and confused and left 2 posts one-sided. However, there was an easy exchange. I have nothing bad to say at all. The cat plays with it all the time. It was worth the money.
