CD drive with CD driver. I asked how to access the CD driver if we just bought a drive for it. that's stupid. The manual confirms that we need this driver for the CD to work. But when I connected the CD drive to my computer, it worked without installing a driver. I am using Windows XP on my Acer Aspire One netbook. In windows explorer I can see that the brand of the CD drive is Teac, which I recognized as the brand commonly used as an OEM for other brands. Teac rarely sells its product to the end user. So it's not bad. I gave 4 stars because for the price it can work neatly and easily, but the CD driver is rubbish (can't install the Nero software in it) and the user manual is useless. Given the price, I doubt its durability. I think it's sensitive to shock and vibration, which has disappointed some other reviewers.
