The package came with a small hole in it. I was a little concerned. But fortunately nothing was damaged inside. The box was actually very difficult to open. I had to cut it with a kitchen knife. All parts inside were neatly packed. It's pretty easy to assemble. All tools were provided. There were also extra screws. The tree is quite heavy for its size. Feels very strong. I particularly like the pillow. Very comfortable to sit. It's not wide, so I suggest not to put it directly against the wall. Leave a few inches so you have more room to sit. I also recommend putting on furniture leg pads if you have a hard floor. The only criticism is that the screws have different shades of color. Some are darker, some lighter. However, it's totally worth the Prime Day retail price ($32).
