Works. Quite heavy, so it sticks out a bit from the outlet. Mine came with two different wattage bulbs. 7 and 25. I prefer 7 watts for two reasons. 25 watts are too bright and too hot! After 30-45 minutes it felt very hot. I don't want anything too hot in the bedroom with a sleeping person let alone my kids. Plus, the brightness kept us awake. Luckily there was an extra 7w bulb in the package so I replaced it. But why put more watts in a night light? It doesn't make any sense to me so I can only speculate and hope it was a bug. I won't use it unless I have another lamp that can handle it.
