Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

At first I assumed it was a marriage, but after turning everything off, blowing out the dust, removing the sound card, and the video card, and then reinstalling them, it began up again! I can't put my finger on it, but ever since then, I've been extra cautious.

Pros

There are a lot of configuration choices, and the sound quality and volume have both improved significantly. That's why I think this card is great for you.

Cons

Radio interference like noise can be heard in the background.

Got pros: not bad for the money, slightly better built-in. Different cons: squeaks when the video card is loaded. Very annoying
