Defective, difficult to install

I have installed screen protectors from other brands on 3 other laptops with no problems. But I also wanted to protect my daughter's Chromebook, so I ordered this brand. It was one of the worst screensavers (laptop or phone) I've installed. The included cleaning cloth and items were dusty and I didn't realize it until I tried to install them. Tiny white dust particles everywhere. Even after using the included dust removal stickers and library card for 30 minutes to smooth out the bubbles, I couldn't get rid of all the air bubbles and dust particles. So one went in the trash. I was more careful peeling off the second foil before removing the lid. I used extra masking tape to remove the paper fibers. But can you believe it - it wasn't quite level. In the middle, above the Samsung logo, you can see that it doesn't fit on the screen and covers up part of the plastic. And it was the best I could do for the spots. Pooh! If you receive one that isn't dirty or defective, the tip is to get your credit card or license to flatten the blade. This is not self-sealing/levelling. Other screen protectors I've used allow you to place them on the screen and they flow like a liquid - this is NOT one of them. The tool is not provided, so you can do it by clicking on the map. You should also not use a cleaning cloth. It's not plastic or anything, and I think it got some fibers on it from the cardboard packaging. Have extra tape handy as well. The included dust removal tab was not enough.

Pros
  • โ—ELECTROSTATIC ADSORPTION: Self-adhesive (no glue) film is attached to the laptop screen. When you remove it, it leaves no trace on the screen and it can be reinserted and used again.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly
