I'm a licensed aesthetician, I don't claim to know everything about skin care but I know this is one of my favorite masks. It has a very cool/mint feeling when you first put it on but then it hardens. It's not hard to wash off and you get a little exfoliation. I would suggest to use a toner on a cotton pad afterwards cause it does leave the slightest hint of a residue behind. But honestly, I LOVE IT
