This is my second Kindle, and I no longer give any other e-reader brands a second thought. Everything about this is fantastic: the minimalist but flawless design; the excellent contrast; the swift scrolling; the icy blue backlight. I was able to disable Amazon's advertising through their live chat service in under four minutes (using pre-written English language phrases readily available online). Modify the line spacing and font size with little effort. It's more hassle-free for me to convert to caliber from a computer, from which I transfer books through USB. Since I also own a white copy, protecting it is a must. If you're an alik shopper, you should know that the necessary size is J9G29R.
