We love this Jinby stool. The hardest part was putting the pieces together as I couldn't make a tight connection between the flat tread and the sides and my husband had to step in and put them together. It's like having to bend the plastic a bit to fit, and it's thick, hard plastic that almost doesn't budge. When I finished nagging about that part, it was better than I expected. It's strong yet light as it's plastic and my toddler can carry it around. The stride is good and it is very stable on carpet. It does NOT have a non-slip base so I wouldn't use it on smooth floors. We use it as a step stool so my little one can climb onto our bed which is an adjustable bed with metal frames underneath that hurt when he climbs on it. So it helps him avoid hitting the wire frame and climb safely and stably. The two-step style makes it wider at the bottom and more stable than the single step. It stays in place as it goes down the back without flipping over or anything, unlike the only step we've taken at this point before. We washed it with soap and water and since it has no metal parts or screws I'm not worried about rusting. All in all very functional.
