This set pairs perfectly with our California King bed, with a little holdover. Since we move every few years I attached them with Command Mini Hooks instead of gluing them to the lights so we could easily detach them to take our bed apart and not worry about the lights when we moved. I love that they have two voltages so we can use them anywhere in the world. They're a little warmer than the ones on our TVs, but not bad. Even with the sensor under our bed, the remote works well. It's so nice not to turn on the lamp at night to find my phone charger or when I get up to go to the bathroom. The darkest setting provides enough light for viewing. If possible I would suggest taking the mattress off to put on top of it rather than putting it under the bed. If we used glue on the lights themselves it would probably be easier but it would also take us 5 seconds to remove the mattress, we just didn't think about it until we were done.
