Was looking for a MC4 connector for 8AWG wire. I was running 150 feet of cable from a solar array to my house and needed a cable rated up to 30A. 8 AWG (55A) was a reasonable choice for my long-distance, low-loss needs. Now finding MC4 connectors for this sensor is not as easy as I thought. There aren't many offers. I found them and ordered them straight away. I was very pleased when they arrived. The metal internal connectors are thicker and require the diamond crimp I have for spade terminals. They fit perfectly and have a great hold. Contact is excellent and I now have thick MC4 connectors which I am more than confident can handle 30A of current. These are high quality, weather resistant connectors that will last for many years. If you need 8AWG MC4 connectors, this is the one for you. 5 stars all day.
