Great tea set! My set did not include cup trays

Basically, as the name suggests. I like this set, very easy to wash with warm water. Cast iron keeps tea warm for a long time, even in a heavily air-conditioned room. My only complaint is that I didn't have saucers/plates for 4 cups of tea, hence I only have to give 4 stars. Another note: the cups are made of the same cast iron as the pans, so they hold a lot of heat. They're great when the tea is warm, but I don't use them when the tea is freshly hot as they can burn my fingers.

Pros
  • GASHU BLACK. In Japanese, the word "Gashu" means "elegance" and we couldn't find any other words to describe the amazing matte black color that reflects the brown in the light. Each teapot is individually sculpted and hand painted in a labor intensive process.
