THIS PRODUCT CHANGED MY LIFE! I was so scared my dog would jump out the door and run away and never be seen again. I was afraid that when moving she would get out of the collar (she is very energetic) and even crawled out of our fenced yard. This e-collar changed everything. Now I can walk my dog off-leash around my neighborhood and she will listen to everything I say to her. And if not, I just push a button to get their attention. Trust me when I say my dog has absolutely NO ability to REMEMBER. She has a tree wolf in her and is very stubborn. I was strongly against the use of electric collars and still am against it to some degree, but this one is a game changer. There are 100 levels that offer an extremely wide range of stimulation. I'm not the type to read instructions too much, so I haven't even figured out the stimulator yet. Basically, I only use the vibration mechanism. The collar has many different functions and is also equipped with a night light. When I first started training my dog, I trained him in my fenced yard. Basically the key to success for you is listed below: - Call your dog and if he doesn't answer hold the button until you get his attention and he runs towards you. Release the button IMMEDIATELY if you catch their attention, then praise them. - Repeat this every time she is not listening and eventually she will learn to approach you when you call her. - When walking, start with the leash. The same rules apply as above. If your dog twitches, say no, and if he doesn't listen, hold the button down until he does and immediately praise him. In the end, your dog will behave the way it's supposed to. Or at least less on the "uncontrolled spectrum" and more on the compliant spectrum. Overall the money I spent on this collar was well worth it and I no longer have as many fears of my dog running away as long as he understands. What a creepy place outside without her owner by her side =]
