They're heavy when you let them dry, but not on wood
I've read too many reviews worried about whether self-adhesive hooks can do the job. I followed the advice I read that you should put them on and wait at least a full day for the glue to set. I waited two days. I have heavy clothes hanging from it, and it's glued to the wood, which isn't painted, so it's a bit porous. So far, so good! (I think it's been a week.) UPDATE: A hook fell out of a tree today with three dresses (weighing at least 3-5 pounds combined). Nine days I think. As such, wood can be a poor surface for these hooks.
