I ordered them because of different cable sizes. If I want to charge my iPod when not in use I use a 3ft cable as there is no power drop. When I want to sit back and watch or play on my iPod, I use a 6 or 10 foot cable depending on how far away I want to be. They work and look great! I would seriously recommend them to anyone interested in multiple cables for a number of reasons. This seller is AWESOME too.
