Review on πŸ”΅ CableMod Light Blue Pro ModMesh Cable Kit for Asus and Seasonic [CM-PRTS-FKIT-NKLB-R] by Will Murphy

Cool but probably stupid.

These cables are slightly smaller than a fully custom kit. I think it's way better than extensions because there's less clutter and fewer connections. The bad news is that the cables are surprisingly stiff and difficult to route around tight corners, even running in a large water-cooled chassis. That's silly because they're just for looks and they look really good compared to standard cables. much better, actually better than I expected. There's no obvious performance benefit and so that cost is solely due to the cooling factor, so it's dumb, just like water cooling was dumb too. I mentioned it looks good. "The only downside I can think of, the only thing I would change is to add exposed wire combs in a 16-wire configuration to tie the 8-pin GPU power cables together in a neat group. Another idea to make them better was to make them in custom lengths, but CalebMod offers this on their website for a significant price. So it's kind of a cost-saving thing. Did I mention how good they look? Funny how bad stock cables looked with all that custom gear.
