I bought these to give my ponytail a stylish look when trying to regrow my hair. I have a lot of hair bands but I wanted something different. The ribbon/scarf is detachable and the ribbons are approximately 3 inches long. You get a lot of colors, which is nice. The scrunchie itself is pretty standard - maybe not as high quality as the scrunchie from the store but still good. My hair is fine, so two twists around my hair works well (I use a rubber band to actually tie my hair - it was bought more as an accessory). If you have thick hair I don't know if you could wrap twice. When the package arrived the ribbons were very crumpled as others have said. I ended up taking all the ribbons off to iron them and then re-tying them which made them look so much better. If they were shipped in a box, you probably wouldn't need to. So I'm deducting 1 star. I don't think you really need to iron them to make them look nice. But for the price it was a good deal. The material is silky and very light, but not transparent. I would definitely buy again.
