I bought this dress because I thought my child could wear it to church at Easter. Photos of other little girls looked so cute. I should also note that I ordered it in purple. This dress looked very boring and unassuming on my little one. It was big and baggy on her (I ordered the size she was wearing now) and just below the knee. She is tall for her age (18 months). I've since decided that this dress would probably pair best with an ivory or white color palette as it makes it look a little less like a dark baggy bag and might look better on bigger kids. I can't tell you exactly why, but this dress looks cute in light colors and awful in dark colors. It can also be due to the contrast between the lace and the dress underneath the lace. Looks better in lighter clothes. In any case, lila was a failure for us.
