It wasn't assembled as well as the original. But who cares? It was $50 plus cheaper. Even better, the new cable has a green light to let you know it's connected. The original doesn't. I also have a feeling that the new cable is made extra. And after saving over $50 I'm ready to try it and it seems to be fine for at least 2 or 3 weeks.
